Ingredients

For the Patties:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best juiciness)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)

  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mushrooms:

    • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes.
    • Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme, and cook for another 2 minutes.
    • Remove from heat and set aside.
