A fresh twist on a classic club sandwich, this version includes lean turkey, creamy avocado, and crisp veggies for a healthier, satisfying lunch!

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices whole grain bread, toasted
  • 3 ounces deli turkey breast, sliced
  • 1/4 avocado, sliced
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 2 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 2 slices cooked bacon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard or mayo (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Toast the Bread: Toast the whole grain bread to your desired level of crispness.

  2. Assemble the Sandwich: On one slice of toasted bread, layer the turkey, avocado slices, tomato, lettuce, and bacon (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
