Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best juiciness)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder

- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 4 burger buns
- 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
- Lettuce

- Pickles

Prepare the Patties:
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Gently mix until combined, but don’t overwork the meat.
- Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, slightly larger than the buns (they will shrink while cooking).
- Heat a pan or griddle over medium heat. Spread butter on the cut sides of the burger buns.
